autumn eyes

It's so hot today I'm longing for cooler climbs and autumn days where the air is crisp and the leaves are falling from the trees and starring at you. Ok so that last part may be a bit strange, but that is what I scribbled up a while back when I stumbled onto this site: http://www.zefrank.com/scribbler/scribblertoo/
It's a fun little tool that I expect to back and play with some more from time to time. So here's looking at you zefrank!

I've been doodling away on a tattoo design for a friend.

This is not it.

But this little guy found his way into the margins of the other drawings and he seemed kind of cute, so I took a break and colored him in. I think I will call him Smirky.

I think that tattoo doodle is done. I just need to scan and mail off for approval and to find out if I should add color to it or not. I'll post it and it's off shoots up soon.

Here is the current doodle du jour. This time I took a different approach and added the color in photoshop instead of with a marker. I think I'm going to explore this method for a while to allow for more experimentation.
